Bank of Uganda hosts visiting KDIC Board members – August 20, 2025

The Central Bank has today hosted the team of Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) Board members as part of the engagements lined up for their benchmarking, knowledge and experience sharing visit to DPF.

Bank of Uganda’s General Counsel Ms. Margaret Kasule represented the central bank management and chaired the engagement. She warmly welcomed the KDIC delegation and requested them to convey BoU’s heartfelt appreciation to the Central Bank of Kenya for always being on hand whenever BOU reached out.

Mr. Joseph K. Ngetich led the KDIC team comprising of Ms. Anne R. Lengerded, Ms. Grace W. Mwaniki and Mr. Titus W Ranja. Mr. Ngetich appreciated BOU for the warm welcome and the wealth of knowledge shared. The parties reiterated the importance of sustaining the existing close collaboration between the two institutions. The KDIC board members were accompanied by a team from DPF led by the CEO Dr. Julia Clare Olima Oyet (Mrs.).
