In a resounding affirmation of its commitment to transparency, the Deposit Protection Fund (DPF) has clinched the first runner-up position at the highly coveted Financial Reporting Awards Ceremony 2023 held at Serena Hotel, Kampala. The event, renowned for recognizing excellence in financial reporting in different sectors, saw the Deposit Protection Fund stand out among its peers in the Government Parastatals category, securing a top-tier position for its exemplary financial disclosure practices. The awards ceremony was held under the theme, “ESG: Reporting as Brand Storytelling.”
The accolade highlights the Deposit Protection Fund’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting, ensuring that stakeholders and the public are well-informed about the Fund’s fiscal health and management practices. The first runner-up position underscores DPF’s efforts to go above and beyond industry expectations, setting a benchmark for transparency and accountability.
