SAMUEL AGGREY MANKAATI

CPA Samuel Aggrey Mankaati oversees the operations of the Internal Audit Department. The Department is responsible for providing independent assurance and advisory services to the Management and Board of the Fund.

Samuel has over 10 years of professional experience in financial reporting, internal and external audits in both the private and public sectors. He holds a Master of Business Administration, a First Class Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) from Makerere University, and PECB Certification in ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager.

He is a full member of the Institute of Certified Public Accounts of Uganda (ICPAU) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Samuel is currently the chairperson of the ICPAU Editorial Board, a member of the Finance, Planning, and Administration Committee of ICPAU Council, a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of IIA – Uganda, a chairperson of the Finance Committee of Mukono Diocese, and a member of the Mukono Diocesan Finance Board.

Because of his outstanding contribution to the Accountancy Profession, Samuel was recognized by the ICPAU as the Young Accountant of the Year 2022.
