Courtesy Visit by DPF Chief Executive Officer to National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U) – April 07, 2022

The Chief Executive Officer of the Deposit Protection Fund (DPF), Mrs. Julia Clare Olima Oyet and a delegation from the Fund paid a visit to the National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U) on April 7, 2022. The Team was received by Ms. Stella Alibateese – Director National Personal Data Protection.

The teams discussed a range of issues including the mandate of the Deposit Protection Fund, the services offered by NITA-U, areas of collaboration and support in relation to information technology, among others.

NITA-U expressed commitment to support the Fund through advisory and capacity building services, and further noted that it was a great gesture for the Fund to reach out for an engagement. On her part, Mrs. Julia Oyet appreciated NITA-U for the guidance and enriching discussions during the visit and pledged her team’s collaboration which would be beneficial to the achievement of the Fund’s objectives.
